Prepare Complete Protocol Documents
Before submitting the protocol, the researcher(s) must ensure that all required documents are complete and properly prepared.
Promoting ethical and responsible research.
Follow the official AMYAPCI-REC process for the submission, review, approval, and continuing monitoring of research protocols.
Researchers are encouraged to carefully review the requirements and complete all necessary documents before submitting their protocol to the Research Ethics Committee.
Researcher(s) must ensure that all protocol documents and required supporting materials are complete before submitting them to the REC Secretariat.
Before submitting the protocol, the researcher(s) must ensure that all required documents are complete and properly prepared.
The REC Secretariat verifies the completeness of the submitted documents. Incomplete submissions are returned to the researcher(s). Complete submissions are logged and assigned a specific protocol code.
The REC Committee determines the appropriate type of review for the submitted research protocol.
The Research Ethics Committee evaluates the protocol based on ethical principles and the protection of research participants.
If revisions are required, the researcher(s) must submit the revised documents together with a point-by-point response addressing the comments and recommendations of the REC.
Protocols that comply with the required ethical standards are approved. Once approved, the REC Committee issues the Ethical Clearance together with its corresponding validity period.
Researchers and the REC maintain ongoing coordination regarding the progress of the protocol. This includes manuscript amendments and submission of the final report upon completion of the study.
Approval does not end the responsibility of the researcher or the Research Ethics Committee. Continuing coordination helps ensure that the approved protocol remains ethically compliant throughout the conduct and completion of the study.
